Jennifer L. Sheppard is a lifelong resident of Nashville, TN having graduated from Hillwood High School in 1997. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she earned a B.A. in 2000 with a focus on Political Science and Child and Family Studies. She was a member of both Phi Eta Sigma and Gamma Beta Phi Honor Societies. Jennifer continued her education at The Nashville School of Law where she earned a J.D. in 2005. She has been admitted to the practice of law in the State of Tennessee since 2005.

Her early practice included criminal defense, family law and various other matters of civil litigation. Over the last several years, Jennifer has limited her practice areas to family law and probate. She handles matters such as divorce, custody, modifications of Parenting Plans and the dependency and neglect of minor children. Jennifer also represents Plaintiffs, Defendants and other interested persons in matters of probate litigation, conservatorships, guardianships, and the administration of estates. She currently accepts a high volume of court appointments through the Probate Court in Davidson County in which she serves as Guardian ad litem and Conservator for cases involving adults that are alleged to be incapacitated.

She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Probate Committee for the Nashville Bar and the Conservatorship Association of Tennessee.
